Mailing

After your job is completed, the last thing we want is to have it delayed in mailing. The Mail Department is authorized for "plant load" mailing - subject to the rules, regulations and inspections of the U.S. Postal Service. Postal problems are minimized by having designated personnel to handle the huge volume of mail sent daily from the plant. Magazines printed at Times are shipped directly to a U.S. Postal Bulk Mail Center. By mailing it directly to a BMC, several days of delivery time can be saved. Data processing, for your mailing list, can also be done at Times.

Great savings can be enjoyed with the use of polybags by including renewal notices, order blanks, special brochures, programs, or notices germane to a periodical class publications. Catalogs or brochures can be "piggybacked" in bulk mailings for economies of addressing and mailing. The Times polybagging equipment can insert the host catalog or publication plus insert up to five additional pieces.

Times has ink jetting systems on the Harris 850 saddle stitchers that can provide a multitude of services. Beginning with just straight addressing by inkjet saves the cost of generating paper labels. Selective addressing from your computer's database can provide different lists for more than one type of mailing. Pre addressing order blanks so that customers do not have to fill in their names or addresses. Inserting different messages to different customer groups or even personalizing an advertisement.
